GAMMAFLUX ANNOUNCES IT WILL NOT EXHIBIT AT NPE 2009

Sterling, VA (March 23, 2009) . . . Gammaflux L.P., the world’s leading supplier of hot runner temperature control systems, has announced it will not exhibit at this year’s NPE 2009 in Chicago. The company has also announced it has directed additional resources into its customer service program.
“We have made this decision for a number of reasons,” said Jeff Colman, President and CEO of Gammaflux, “but the bottom line is we do not find it prudent in this current economy to spend the money necessary to exhibit at NPE. We feel we can better serve our customers by directing our resources towards working with them directly.”
For what would have been the cost to exhibit at NPE, Gammaflux can make “hundreds of visits to customers” to help with their specific applications, said Colman. As part of its commitment to customer service, Gammaflux has added numerous trial units to its “Gammaflux Challenge” program, which offers customers and prospects the use of Gammaflux hot runner temperature controllers for 2 weeks at no cost.
“We encourage molders to try our controllers for 2 weeks on their most challenging hot runner tools,” said Vince Leone, Gammaflux Vice President. “They often find that a simple change from their current hot runner temperature controllers to a Gammaflux controller solves their problem. These trials have been extremely successful and have helped numerous customers improve their bottom line.”
Through its Gammaflux Challenge program, Gammaflux offers its LEC hot runner temperature controllers for 1-12 zones of control, and its TTC controllers for higher cavitation applications.
Gammaflux has been a regular exhibitor at NPE in the past and will consider exhibiting again at the next NPE in 2012, said Colman. “This economic situation is extraordinary and requires some difficult decisions,” he said. “We’re confident things will improve and when they do, we’ll go back to considering exhibiting at the major shows.”
